Respiratory Management
Purpose:
A guideline for standardization of surfactant delivery for initial dosing, redosing, and administration technique. The guideline also provides suggested approaches based on gestational age, including candidates for the INSURE approach.
The guideline was developed with evidence-based principles, multi-disciplinary collaboration, and individualized and family-centered approaches to caring for the neonate.
Population:
All infants with surfactant deficiency.
