NICHD BPD Calculator for Steroid Use

Purpose:

Data from the NICHD Neonatal Research Network were used to develop a web-based BPD estimator that accurately predicts the risk of bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD).  

NICU ELBW Hyperglycemia Management with Subcutaneous (SQ) Insulin

The following approach uses this calculator to suggest infants who may benefit from treatment with dexamethasone.
